Aloe vera contains naturally occurring aloin, which a 2012 study found to be effective in skin whitening and non-toxic hyperpigmentation.
Use:
Apply pure aloe vera gel to the affected area before going to bed.
Wash it off with warm water the next morning.
Repeat daily until skin tone improves.
red onion
Red onion (Allium cepa) extract is part of skin and scar whitening creams. Studies have shown that dried red onion skin can effectively lighten the skin. Look for hyperpigmentation creams that contain Allium cepa and use them as directed.
Green tea extract
Studies have shown that applying green tea extract to the skin can help reduce skin pigmentation. You can buy green tea extract and apply it as directed. Some websites suggest applying green tea bags to dark spots for a lightening effect, but there is no evidence to support this claim.
If you want to try it, follow these steps.
Steep green tea bags in boiling water for three to five minutes.
Remove the tea bag from the water and let it cool - you don't want to burn your skin.
Apply the tea bag on your dark spots.

Black tea water
An animal study published in 2011 found that black tea water lightens dark spots in dolphins. Black tea water was applied twice a day, six days a week for four weeks.
To try this hyperpigmentation treatment option at home:
Add a teaspoon of fresh black tea leaves to a cup of boiling distilled water.
Let steep for two hours and strain to remove leaves.
Soak a cotton ball in the tea water and apply it to the hyperpigmentation area twice a day.
Repeat every day for four weeks, six days a week.
Licorice extract
Licorice extract contains active ingredients that help reduce melasma and sun-induced hyperpigmentation. Topical creams containing licorice extract are available over the counter. Use according to the instructions on the package.
Milk
Milk, butter, and even sour milk can effectively remove skin discoloration. Lactic acid is the component responsible for this effect.
Use any of these to treat pigmentation.

Tomato paste
